In the event of a known case of COVID-19 at the venue, these details are used to notify each patron who has visited the venue.

touchSMS has developed a contactless data collection process, where a QR code is scanned to initiate an SMS submission of customer details.

Acceptance Criteria

Business must create a touchSMS account and purchase a Virtual Number, setup with auto-reply (optional). QR codes are created by touchSMS on your behalf. You must display the QR code in your venue. Your customers can scan the QR code to submit their details via SMS.

The visitor will scan the QR code with the camera on their smartphone, and it will automatically open up an SMS on their screen.

After sending the SMS with their details, the system will send an automatic reply of acknowledgement (automatic replies are an optional feature).

     If the customer is unable to scan the QR Code they can SMS their details directly to your Virtual Number.
