The Christmas season is one of the busiest times of the year for businesses. Between managing increased demand, seasonal promotions, and changing trading hours, clear communication with customers is essential. That’s where SMS comes in.
Unlike email or social posts that can get lost in crowded inboxes or feeds, SMS cuts through the noise. With a 99% delivery rate and 90% of messages read within 3 minutes, SMS ensures your Christmas promotions and important updates reach customers instantly.
Share Holiday Promotions That Drive Sales
Christmas is the perfect opportunity to engage your customers with timely offers. Use SMS to:
- Announce exclusive Christmas sales or flash promotions
- Send discount codes or vouchers
- Promote gift ideas or bundles
- Alert loyal customers to early-access deals
Short, direct messages with a clear call-to-action (like a link to shop online) make it easy for customers to take advantage of your offers right away.
Keep Customers Informed of Trading Hours
The festive season often means extended hours, public holiday closures, or special events. SMS is the ideal channel to keep customers informed, so they know when they can visit you. For example:
- “We’re open late for Christmas shopping—until 9 pm this Thursday!”
- “Holiday closure: We’ll be closed Dec 25–26, reopening Dec 27.”
This reduces customer frustration, builds trust, and helps ensure you don’t miss out on sales due to miscommunication.
Build Customer Loyalty Beyond Christmas
By using SMS effectively during the holiday rush, you not only boost sales but also strengthen your customer relationships. Showing that you value their time with clear, relevant updates builds credibility and keeps them coming back well into the new year.
This Christmas, give your business the gift of better communication. With touchSMS, you can send promotions and updates in seconds - keeping your customers informed, engaged, and ready to buy.
