A large number of our email responses end up in junk mail and are never seen, so we follow up with a text letting the person know we've replied and to check their junk folder. Doing that by hand meant picking up a mobile and typing out a text, which was time consuming and distracting. I'd often forget or run out of time, and valuable leads were lost. The fact that it can be sent from a no reply sender is even better, because the last thing I want is to encourage text replies, and I don't like giving out mobile numbers instead of our main business number."
