Setting up Neto Integration in touchSMS

Neto Integration Setup

Once you’ve registered and verified your touchSMS account you will need to set-up your Neto Integration to do this log into your Neto E-Store cpanel and navigate to;

Settings & Tools > Staff Users

Select any user with “Admin User” permissions on your NETO account and click the user name to open their profile details.

When User Details opens, you will need to copy and paste the user’s Username and API Key into the Neto Integration page of TouchSMS.

If the API Key field is blank for this user, click the Regenerate button to create a new API Key and click save.

To access the Neto Integration page in TouchSMS, go to:

touchSMS > Integrations > Neto

You will also need your Neto API Endnote URL for setup of SMS from Neto. You will find this in the URL of your Neto store login (as below).

Copy and paste your Neto API Endpoint URL (E-store URL) into the Neto API Endpoint URL field.

Also, be sure to enter your Neto Store Name in the indicated field, which will be used a merge field to identify your Store for automated SMS communication.

Once the above details have been entered, click Save & Test Connection

touchSMS Webhook will automatically generate once you have clicked Save & Test Connection 

Copy and paste your touchSMS Webhook into the Neto API Webhook URL field.

Log into your Neto Store and navigate to;

Settings & Tools > Developer Tools > API Settings

Paste your touchSMS Webhook URL into the Neto API webhook URL field.

Note: If there is already a webook URL in this field you will need to remove it and replace it with your touchSMS Webhook URL.

Once you have complete the above set-up your Neto TouchSMS integration is complete.

Invalid Request Looks like something went wrong! Your Neto Integration attempt was unsuccessful. For setup instructions click here.

Failed connection, we recommend you check the details you have entered into touchSMS and confirm they are correct or in your Neto E-Store cpanel (Settings & Tools > Staff Users > Select the Admin User assigned for setup > API Key) click regenerate and re-enter your Neto API Key in touchSMS.

 

Invalid Request Neto API EndPoint URL is currently in use. Please contact touchSMS Support

This is the result of your EndPoint URL (E-Store URL) being used on another account. If you have more than one touchSMS account you will not be able to set-up the Neto Integration on both account the Endpoint URL must be unique per account.

 

Invalid Request Neto API Key and Neto API EndPoint URL fields cannot be empty. Confirm your Neto API Key and EndPoint URL and enter details below.

To set-up the Neto Integration through touchSMS you will need to enter a valid Neto API Key and Neto EndPoint URL. Follow the above instructions to complete the set-up.

 

Invalid Request Neto Username field cannot be empty. Confirm your Neto Username and enter details below.

To set-up the Neto Integration through touchSMS you will need to enter a valid Neto User name, Neto API Key and Neto EndPoint URL – these fields cannot be empty. Follow the above instructions to complete the set-up.

Invalid Request Neto API EndPoint URL field cannot be empty. Confirm your Neto API EndPoint URL and enter details below.

To set-up the Neto Integration through touchSMS you will need to enter a valid Neto API Key and Neto EndPoint URL and neither field can be empty. Follow the above instructions to complete the set-up.

 

Invalid Request Neto API EndPoint URL length cannot exceed 1000 characters. Confirm your Neto API EndPoint URL and re-enter details below.

To set-up the Neto Integration through touchSMS you will need to enter a valid Neto API EndPoint URL that does not exceed 1000 characters. Follow the above instructions to complete the set-up.

Order Change Automated SMS Templates

Once your Neto Integration has been successfully set-up, the Neto Templates will appear and you will have the option to edit the templates and manage the automated SMS sending process.

To edit a Template, simply click on the template name, the edit template window will open and you will be able to edit;

 

Allow Replies;

You can switch replies ON or OFF.

When replies are switched ON replies will come back into your touchSMS Web Inbox and a copy sent to your email. When replies are switched OFF you will have the ability to select a Sender ID.

 

Sender ID;

If you have selected replies ON the Sender ID will be pre-selected to Replied to Web Inbox/Email.

If you have selected replies OFF you will be able to select an alphanumeric Sender ID you have previously set-up.

To amend this list log into your touchSMS account and navigate to Settings > Allowed Sender IDs

 

SMS Message;

You will be able to amend the content of each template and the option to use the available Neto Merge Fields.

Keep your eye on the Characters and Message Parts.

Tip: One message allows up to 160 characters. touchSMS will allow for you to exceed this amount and the message will be received as one text but you will be charged 1 credit per 160 characters. 

 

Neto Merge Fields;

These are the available Neto Merge Fields you can use to compose your Neto Automated SMS.

 

Once you have finished editing your template click Save

To disable or enable a Template simply use the toggle to switch between statuses.

Troubleshooting

Setting up the connection between your Neto E-Store and touchSMS is via API, requiring you to enter your Neto API details into your touchSMS account. See below our touchSMS + Neto troubleshooting.

Q. What is my Neto API EndPoint URL and how do I find it?

A. Your Neto API EndPoint Url is simply your E-Store URL or the address of your web page.

To find your URL simply navigate to your Neto E-Store cpanel, and your URL will appear in the URL(web page) bar.

Q. I set up my Neto Integration but it has stopped working and there is a red Invalid Request error in my touchSMS account?

A. When you log into your touchSMS account and navigate to Integrations > Neto and there is a red Invalid Request error, this is the result of your API in Neto being regenerated causing the loss of connection between your Neto E-Store and touchSMS.

 

To rectify this error, you will need to log into your Neto E-Store cpanel and navigate to;

Settings & Tools > Developer Tools > API Settings

Copy and Paste your Neto API Key into your Neto Integration settings page in touchSMS then click Save & Test Connection.
